STACY CIARAVELLA
Business Design and Sales Development
Stacy Ciaravella designs custom business strategies for new and developing brands that focus on health, wellness and
conscious living. Combining a background in media with 20 years of sales, marketing and business development leadership,
Stacy identifies market opportunities and offers creative solutions for revenue and capital improvement. Her services
include business design and planning, sales, marketing systems, media expansion, programming, financial analysis and
budget completion.
As an example of her skills, Stacy co-founded and launched the fully integrated health company Apogee Wellness
(www.apogeewellness.com), which she developed from inception to full operation. Currently with four locations, Apogee
is on target to deliver wellness practices to consumers through studio and web platforms and to professionals through
training programs, seminars and workshops.
Stacy is the founder of Pilates-Pro.com, the premiere international web portal for the Pilates industry’s instructors,
teacher trainers and studio owners. The site is the number one resource for continuing education content, interactive
discussions, job searches and marketplace advertisements. As a former publisher at Lifestyle Media, Stacy successfully
developed Pilates Style and Chili Pepper magazines into interactive solutions for content and live events for sponsors
and consumers.
Stacy began her career as a media executive for Sports Illustrated, The Economist, American Health and Fitness magazines.
At Fitness she first served as Financial Officer responsible for budget implementation, P/L management, and financial
analysis, and later became Advertising Sales Director charged with revenue generation and organization. While in the
sales capacity, Stacy negotiated alliances with health-forward companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble,
Pfizer, and Nike, to deliver top line performance in excess of $30mm.
Her education credentials include a Bachelors of Science in Business Finance from the University of South Florida, a
professional degree in Magazine Publishing from New York University, and successful completion of industry-related classes,
seminars and programs.
Stacy donates her time to Johns Hopkins University’s Native Vision health and wellness summer camp program. She is a board
member at Slow Food Metro North, a CSA participant at Glynwood and recently joined the Culinary Historians of New York.
Stacy lives with her husband and splits her time between NYC and the Hudson Valley.
